#1 of '3's a Charm'

Hope you had a chance to stop by Big Picture Scrapbooking yesterday. You can post a comment until Friday 10 pm PST for a chance to win some Pebbles, Inc. paper pads.

Today I've got a quick page to share. I've been making tons of 8 1/2 x 11 pages lately. It's one of the methods I use to ease back into scrapbooking after a long break - especially when the mojo is not fully functional. I find the smaller area less intimidating than a big 12 x 12 page. This page was intended for my Pebbles, Inc. Mix and Match assignment for this past Monday. I liked it - especially the color - but not enough to submit it.

I mixed a few lines here - but it's mostly 'Let Freedom Ring' and 'Fresh Goods'. The Let Freedom Ring line has some really gorgeous graphic patterns. It may seem 'themey' but it's really got some gems! Here are those blingy red Thickers again - love them! I paired them with a taken-apart Fresh Goods sticker to make my title:

I cut out squares from the grid and backed them with different patterns:

So that's me for today. I'll be back tomorrow with another page I made for this same assignment. Three tries for me on this assignment before I got it right!
Thanks for stopping by - have a great day :)

Yes I agree...smaller is less intimidating. I just did a page with that size last week. I just love yours! Love how you cut out the squares and back up with patterned paper!

It is amazing how much impact such a little thing as cutting the squares out and backing with the pattern paper verses placing the pattern paper on top can make! Such a sweet layout - I cant believe how big your kiddos have gotten in 2 years!
