After the page was finished and photographed, I noticed the unplanned bonus that occurred; the kraft letters appear to be cut out from the white ledger to reveal background. I love when something like that happens which is why as I'm working on a page, I'm usually taking photos of it with my iPhone. I'm not sure why but seeing the page in progress, once step removed, helps me to see details I might not notice otherwise - like big holes in the layout, un-balance or wierd patterns formed by the elements. Anyway, I wish it had actually occurred to me to do the cut outs instead of the stickers - it would have been a cool effect. Next time...Here's a close up of the kraft letter illustion:
And 2 more details:
For a full list of all the Pebbles, Inc. goodies used on this page, stop on by the blog. I mixed a few lines here - which is one of many great things about Pebbles paper lines - they are easily mixed.
Hope you had a great week. I'm currently in denial of impending required NYE celebrations....

Great page, Valerie! I take pictures of my pages beforehand too, if I can remember. It's like having a second opinion!

I thought those letters were cut out at first, until I checked the up close and personal photo! Looks awesome. I adore that stapeled strip over the arrow too. Good stuff, my friend!
