We were spared...

the 'Halloween snowstorm' thank goodness! All over our state and up in Connecticut, trees are down and power is out - oh, and there's the foot of snow, too. I am so glad we dodged that bullet. Another good thing about living near the ocean. I am definitely not ready for snow! 

It's finally feels like Halloween to me (nothing like waiting til' last minute.) I've been feeling very disconnected from it this year, and disconnected from Fall in general. It was such a chore for me to get out the decorations and set up our spooky houses. I did it mainly because I knew my kids would have been disappointed if I hadn't.
