This week at The Studio we are doing something a little different - we're making cards. Thank you cards to be specific. Here's my holiday-themed thank you:
Materials: patterned paper: House of 3; frame: Maya Road; stickers: Doddlebug; bling: Queen & Co.; mist: Tattered Angels; stamps: Studio Calico, Practicing Creativity; embossing powder: Close To My Heart; string: Martha Stewart
It must be Christmastime as I have allowed myself to use the silver thread/metallic cardstock combo again! I swore it off last December after I abused it a little. This card design is based on one of the December sketches over at My Sketch World. I saw it on Jan's blog and had to give it a go - try my hand at some challenge multi-tasking.
So stop by The Studio and check out the work of the fab design team and maybe join in on the fun! And don't forget, The Studio is having a design team call. Amanda is looking for layout, card and tutorial designers. It's so much fun and everyone is so nice to work with. See the details here.
I'm going to be a little scarce this week but have scheduled a couple of posts for later this week.
Hope you have a good one!

This is beautiful, and so classy and elegant. I don't think you ever could abuse anything crafty, all your creations are so unique and wonderful.
Gorgeous card!
This is beautiful, Valerie! Love how you used the frame!
Lovelovelove the monochromatic feel of this gorgeous card, Val! That bakers twine ties everything (ha, I made a punny!) together so nicely. Terrific job with the sketch too!
HI Valerie!! it has been a while since I popped by but I had a bit more time today and wanted to say a quick hello! I love your card!! it is awesome! I haven't had time to take part in the recent challenges but hope to catch up during the holidays, and maybe apply for the DT.
This is a gorgeous card, Valerie!
